This is a study of a mouse model of medulloblastoma. Further studies will be needed to determine if the findings in mice apply to patients, and if so, which subset of patients can benefit from therapies that are identified in the animals.

Thanks for your question. Molindone and ziprasidone are not associated with strong metabolic side effects in patients and, in this study, they did not affect insulin promoter activity or activate SMAD3.
